Cookie-free traffic totals
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate page views, referring websites, approximate countries, device and browser categories, and page performance. This does not use analytics cookies, persistent visitor IDs, or cross-site visitor tracking. We measure the public website and game launch page, not actions inside a match. A visit to the game page is not proof of a started or completed match. Public channel links such as /from/email help count visits from a promotion without identifying recipients.
This reporting is separate from optional Google Analytics and starts without a Google opt-in. You can turn it off below. Global Privacy Control also disables it. We store only your preference locally to honor it; a previous refusal under our older, broader wording is also respected. Turning reporting off applies after this page reloads and does not remove existing aggregate reports.
Optional Google Analytics
If you choose “Allow Google Analytics,” we use Google Analytics to understand traffic sources, pages visited, and clicks on Play, Customize a match, and links to our other platforms. Google receives technical information such as browser and device details and processes your IP address to derive approximate location. We do not send your name, email address, game saves, player names, or match contents through this integration. A Play click measures interest, not a completed match.
Analytics cookies help recognize visits. We configure a six-month cookie lifetime. We do not enable Google Signals, advertising personalization, or advertising cookies. Before your permission, this site does not load Google Analytics or send Google Analytics pings. We honor the browser’s Global Privacy Control signal by leaving analytics off.
We strip URL fragments and arbitrary query parameters from the page address sent to Analytics. Only bounded campaign labels are retained. Referral addresses are reduced to their website origin.
Your choice
We store your Google Analytics choice in this browser for up to six months. You can change it below or through “Privacy choices” on the site. Choosing “No thanks” stops Google Analytics collection and clears this site’s Google Analytics cookies; it does not remove previously collected reports. Choices are specific to your browser and site address.
Hosting and game storage
Cloudflare delivers the website and may process network information, including IP addresses and request details, to operate and protect its service. The game may save preferences and progress locally in your browser. These functions are independent of your analytics choice.
Feedback and tester forms
Our feedback and tester-interest links open Google Forms. They are not embedded in this website. Feedback can be submitted without a reply email; tester signup asks for your email and computer details so we can coordinate testing. Do not include passwords, Steam keys, or sensitive personal information. There are no file-upload fields. Responses are available to the Greenfire team, not published as a public response summary, and are used to improve the game, reply to feedback, or coordinate testing—not to add you to a marketing mailing list. Contact support@greenfiregame.com to ask about or request removal of your response. Google processes form submissions under its own privacy policy.
